Primed ("we", "us", "our") operates primedmarkets.com and delivers personalised pre-market trading briefings by email. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect
Information you provide
When you create an account and use Primed, you provide:
- Account details: email address, display name, password (stored securely hashed — we never see your password)
- Preferences: stock watchlist selections, market preference (US, UK, or Australia), timezone, delivery settings
- Referral data: if you were referred by another user or refer others, we store the referral connection
- Communications: any emails or messages you send us
- Ask Primed questions: questions you ask through the Ask Primed feature and the AI-generated responses
Information collected automatically
When you use our website and open our emails, we automatically collect:
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, login timestamps, briefing views
- Device data: browser type, operating system, screen resolution, IP address
- Email engagement: whether you opened a briefing email and which links you clicked (via Resend tracking)
- Analytics data: page views and navigation patterns recorded server-side on our own infrastructure (no third-party analytics cookies)
Information we do not collect
We do not collect or have access to your brokerage accounts, portfolio holdings, trade history, financial situation, income, or investment objectives. Your watchlist is the only investment-related data we hold, and you control it entirely.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Deliver your briefings: generate personalised pre-market analysis based on your watchlist selections using artificial intelligence, and deliver it to your email
- Operate the service: manage your account, process your preferences, enforce tier limits, manage your trial period
- Improve the product: understand how users interact with briefings and the dashboard to make the product better
- Communicate with you: send service emails (welcome, trial reminders, re-engagement), respond to your messages
- Prevent abuse: detect multi-account creation, bot signups, and referral fraud
- Ensure security: monitor for unauthorised access and protect against threats
We will never sell your personal information. We do not serve advertising.
AI-generated content
Your daily briefings and Ask Primed Q&A responses are generated using artificial intelligence (Anthropic Claude). Our AI analyses publicly available financial market data and generates commentary based on the stock tickers in your watchlist.
What the AI receives for briefings: your watchlist ticker symbols, your market edition (US/UK/AU), your timezone, and your display name. What the AI receives for Ask Primed: the above, plus your question, your conversation history within the current session, and recent briefing content for context. The AI does not receive your email address, password, financial situation, or any information beyond what is needed to generate your briefing or respond to your question.
Important: Anthropic does not use data sent via their API to train their models. API inputs are retained for up to 30 days for safety monitoring, then deleted.
Third-party services
We use the following services to operate Primed. Each receives only the data necessary for their function:

We have Data Processing Agreements in place with each provider as required by applicable law.
Cookies
Essential cookies only
- Supabase authentication cookies: keep you logged in. These are strictly necessary for the service to function.
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other browser-based analytics tool. There is no cookie consent banner on this site.
Website analytics (page views and navigation patterns) are recorded server-side on our own infrastructure. No cookies are set, no personal data beyond a hashed IP address is captured, and the data never leaves our servers.

When you delete your account, we remove your primary data within 30 days. Backup copies are purged within 90 days. We retain a hashed record of your email address to prevent re-contact if you've unsubscribed.
Your rights
Everyone
You can at any time:
- Access your data: view your account information, watchlist, and preferences on your dashboard
- Update your data: change your email, watchlist, timezone, and preferences in Settings
- Delete your account: contact us at noreply@example.comhello@primedmarkets.com and we will delete your account and associated data within 30 days
- Unsubscribe: click the unsubscribe link in any briefing email, or adjust delivery settings on your dashboard
- Export your data: request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) by emailing noreply@example.comhello@primedmarkets.com
Additional rights for EEA and UK residents
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR, you also have the right to:
- Restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent (this does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing)
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK at ico.org.uk, or your national data protection authority in the EEA)
Legal bases for processing (GDPR Article 6):
- Contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)): account data, watchlist, preferences, briefing generation and delivery — necessary to provide the service you signed up for
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): email engagement tracking — you can withdraw consent at any time
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)): security monitoring, fraud prevention, service improvement — balanced against your rights with appropriate safeguards
International data transfers: your data is transferred to the United States where our infrastructure is hosted. For EU/UK data, transfers are protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (for certified providers including Amazon/Resend), Standard Contractual Clauses (for Supabase, Anthropic, and Hetzner), and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
Additional rights for California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, request correction, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party analytics cookies or tracking pixels, so there is no browser-level opt-out required for analytics.

Children
You must be at least 18 years old to use Primed. By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover an account belongs to someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.
Security
We protect your data using:
- Passwords hashed via Supabase Auth (bcrypt)
- All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Row Level Security on database tables
- Access controls limiting who can access production data
- Regular review of third-party service security practices
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at noreply@example.comhello@primedmarkets.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
